CHLORHEXIDINE DIGLUCONATE

Antiseptic and disinfectant belonging to the biguanidine family. Effective against a wide range of gram-positive, gram-negative, aerobic, anaerobic, and yeast bacteria. Ideal antiseptic for washing mucous membranes, wounds and minor burns. Disinfects the skin and mucous membranes without causing irritation. Not stain.

HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA

Shrub native to North America. Its leaves contain active principles with astringent action, thanks to its tannin content, which is manifested by a contraction of the vessels: the veins and capillaries contract more strongly favoring the flow of blood. Its flavonoid content increases the resistance of small veins and capillaries, and helps reduce capillary permeability. Thus, it helps reduce inflammation. Its antioxidant action protects the wall of the veins and capillaries.

BURDOCK

Herbaceous plant whose very elongated root is of great therapeutic interest in the treatment of skin disorders. Its popular name “ringworm herb” perfectly illustrates its therapeutic use in skin conditions.

TEA TREE

It is an evergreen tree (Malaleuca Alternifolia) native to Australia, from which an essential oil with antiseptic, fungicidal and bactericidal properties with recognized anti-acne effect is extracted by distillation of the leaves.

PCA SODIUM

It is the sodium salt of pyrrolidine carboxylic acid, a component of NMF, the natural moisturizing factor of the skin. Due to their hygroscopic properties, they absorb and retain water in the stratum corneum, acting as powerful moisturizers, humectants and restructuring of the corneal layer.
