CHLORHEXIDINE DIGLUCONATE

Antiseptic and disinfectant belonging to the biguanidine family, effective against a wide range of gram-positive, gram-negative, aerobic, anaerobic and yeast bacteria. Ideal antiseptic for washing mucous membranes, wounds and burns. Disinfects the skin and mucous membranes without causing irritation, does not stain.

At low concentrations it acts as a bacteriostat, altering the osmotic balance of the bacteria. At high concentrations, its bactericidal action is due to the precipitation of proteins and nucleic acids.

HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA

Shrub native to North America. Its leaves contain active principles that give it an astringent action thanks to its tannin content and that is manifested by a contraction of the vessels: the veins and capillaries contract more strongly favoring the flow of blood, and a due vitamin P action to its flavonoid content. This action results in an increase in resistance of the small veins and capillaries and in a decrease in capillary permeability, responsible for edema and inflammation. In addition, flavonoids are antioxidants that protect the wall of the veins and capillaries.

UREA

It acts as a keratolytic removing superficial epidermal keratin and producing the chemical exfoliating effect.

It is a natural product obtained from Jojoba seeds, in the form of micro-granules that eliminate excess dead cells, improving the tone and texture of the skin without irritating it.

PVP / VA

Copolymer that exhibits the ability to form transparent films. It has very little reactivity with the skin and is highly used in cosmetics.
