We hope you are enjoying the summer, and we also hope that you are making good use of sunscreen, because of what we talked about the previous month... Just in case you haven't been attentive or if you don't remember, we remind you!

• Ideally, we should limit sun exposure, restricting the hours of greatest intensity and limiting the time of total exposure.

But this month we will not talk about sunscreens, nor about the importance of using them (that's it, we have already said so), but about aftersun products.

The main characteristic of these products is that they contain SOOTHING INGREDIENTS that provide instant freshness to the skin, which is especially suitable for example, to relieve the skin from sunburn after which the skin is inflamed and irritated.

As we have seen, after exposure to the sun, the skin also dries out. Aftersun products usually provide MOISTURIZING AGENTS and EMOLLIENT AGENTS, to maintain hydration and prevent the loss of transdermal water. In fact, after sun exposure, it is also advisable to drink enough water to help recover this hydration.

Other common ingredients in aftersun products are REGENERATING AND REPAIRING AGENTS. They also usually include ANTI-OXIDANT AGENTS such as Vitamin E, since they help protect against damage caused by free radicals after sun exposure.

How to apply them?

Simply apply it after the shower with a gentle massage until it is absorbed.
