Solar filters

Isoamyl p-methoxycinnamate. Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. Butylmethoxydibenzoylmethane. Octocrylene. Filters that exhibit maximum absorption in the UVB and UVA ranges. They are highly compatible with cosmetic ingredients, are non-phototoxic and non-sensitizing. They act against the unwanted effects of solar radiation.

Proline

Amino acid involved in the synthesis of collagen, a fibrous protein that forms connective tissue. It provides support, structural padding and forms a protective barrier from external agents.

Taurine

It exists as a free amino acid in most animal tissues, the most abundant in muscle, platelets, and the developing nervous system. Regulator of salt, water balance within cells and stabilizer of cell membranes. It protects the skin from the aggression of free radicals that induce skin aging.

Urea and Sodium Citrate

NMF components. They provide hydration or moisture to the stratum corneum.

Vitamin E

Antioxidant, anti-free radical and tissue-regenerating agent.

Cyclomethicone

It is a low viscosity silicone fluid. It is an ideal s/w (silicone/water) excipient for combination or oily skin. It is clear, odorless, non-greasy and non-sensitizing.
